David Hughes

David Hughes is CTO at Stelia. He is a seasoned engineering leader with expertise in cloud computing, AI, networking, and storage. Previously CTO at Genesis Cloud, Dave has a strong background in software engineering, data engineering, systems admin and network engineering. He has worked in traditional HPC, early GPU-accelerated computing (ML) and now AI. He has significant experience in building networks, systems and many other tech stacks, including for the UK government. He is a long-term contributor to open source.
